Hi,

I was wondering how good the cub cadet 2072 is. Is it a durable tractor and good for mowing and plowing? A guy around where i am is selling one for $1,200 and it comes with a 60in deck and the tractor has no rust on it. I am very interested in the tractor but i need to know more information on it before i buy it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have an 1872 and I like it. Make sure the bolts holding the rear to the frame are tight and the rear isn't cracked or broken. Mine was, so I replaced it with an CI rearend. If the driveshaft wobbles, it'll need repair, and if there is Hytran coming out of the top of the steering column, the steering column would need rebuilding. Those are the main things to look for.
