Upgrade Nowhave changed the filter .yesterday fluid level was a little low.and it engaged instantly when I went to reverse.some times when I put it in the neutral position it continues to want to move forward when it will not go in reverse.no noise.Check fluid level? Any strange noises? If not serviced recently, you may want to change hydro fluid, filter, and fill with Hy-Tran or equivalent. Also might be a linkage adjustment, or wear issue.
Yes I also believe it's linkage .I will check it out this fall when not needed .thanksSounds like a linkage issue.
by any chance?? are you pushing on brake at the same time? that moves linkage to return to neutral....I may be talking about the wrong model tho...I have a 1720 that won't allow any movement of hand lever when brake is even slightly pushedMy cub some times does not want to back up.and other times is just fine.any help would be great.
