Was this Briggs ever standard equipment for a Cub Cadet 82 series?
It sure bolts in like it belongs there.

Not sure what tractor it was originally installed in, or, for that matter. what frame this is as it is cut off just ahead of where the ser # tag would have been.
The rest of the tractor was sacrificed along with another to construct a articulated 4x4 scale clone.

Not quite a factory installation, but a Vanguard can bolt right in with the corresponding set of 1440 or 1535 parts.

Truth be told, in the Cyclops generation of machines the engine plate allowed mounting of the Command, Vanguard, AND Kawasaki engines.

My guess is what you have is a 582 Special or 1203 (or similar) setup there. (was) good property for a plethora of upgrades for other units.
