I decided to remove the oil pan from my K321A to find out if there were balance gears in there. 

 

And the answer is.... Yes [ATTACH=full]41720[/ATTACH]

 

Next step is to remove the head and take a look at the cylinder wall.

I should add that there really wasn't anything wrong with this engine BEFORE taking it apart. There was a little smoke on startup and some electrical issues. There never has been any engine overhaul on this engine so I figured that I should look into it. What could go wrong? [ATTACH=full]41722[/ATTACH]}}
