I agree with Steve, Jason and Wayne, I have had my 149 for 40 years and it is still going strong. I have done everything with it, plow, mow, push snow -rock-dirt. Thrown snow, tilled. It has done everything I have asked it to do with very few problems.

Is it Friday, yet?

Jason W,

Haven't you read my tag line at the bottom of my posts? I'm still carrying away small stones!

For the past few weeks I have been battling migraine headaches.
Most days I come home from work and go straight to bed. Kind of depressing.

I have managed to do a little work on the 100.
Got the engine cleaned up, primed, and ready for paint along with some more parts.

Also cleaned up the carb and installed a kit in it.
That small spring and ball that goes in the choke control was a pain to get back in!

Marty G. I'm saying prayers for you to get rid of those migraines.

I'm hoping this weekend for some Cub Cadet time. I need it so bad.

Hello I was wondering what style are the cubs with the rounded cowls and engine covers like on a 2072 or the red cubs. Are they just considered wide-frames?

Here we go boys and girls! LOL
24 degrees here this morning, I think HE has arrived!

Frank C.,

What's the story on those Cub 154 Lowboys doing handstands on their noses? Was that out back behind a dealership somewhere? Can't imagine that standing them up on end would be good on the fiberglass nose pieces.

Ron-
His laydown yard was to small for his inventory,

Ron: That's one of the old pics that I thought I'd lost forever after a computer crash. It an archive picture taken after a flood that floated the rear tires and left the tractors standing on their noses when the water went down. I think in Louisville, but don't hold me to that. Lots of fake news floating around.

Since it is Friday and it's too cold for Charlie to get out, I thought I would post some pics of last weeks show to cheer him up.

These two are generally the biggest you will see around here.

There were other brands, but the cubs outnumbered them about 8 to 1.

There was a young boy who looked to be about 3 years old who pulled too!

Digger-I’ve been choosing one thing at a time to tackle,as opposed to jumping from thing to thing to thing, seem less daunting that way, after work tomorrow night think I want to get the lights figured out.this rig is a wiring nightmare. this one should be in a book of what not to do LOL,This winter after hunting season I’ll be getting started on the double stick rebuild.im going to make sure I get a NEW wiring harness for that tractor hope someone I know has one, wink wink

Boy I like that 1086. My Uncle's had one just like that. Put a ton of hours on it with a hydro-swing haybine back in the day.
