Myron,

Yes, those are good tips, especially about the loose clothing. Talk about getting wrapped around the axle! It would be almost essential to have a rigged up kill switch nearby. I know they're dangerous, so I wouldn't pay too much for one.

Norm: The Unicorn Splitter, like all power equipment, is not particularly dangerous when used with proper caution and as directed. For instance, how many fingers have been lost to power saws because of carelessness??.. I have used my Unicorn safely and without incident... the same safety precautions and principles apply here.

I'm looking for the gearbox mounting assembly for a model 1A rototiller that mounts on the rear of a model 149 cub cadet. Please see item #1 in the parts diagram for the rototiller and the photo of the mounting assembly. I have the gearbox and everything else.

Does anybody out there have a decent condition USED Cyclops driveshaft assembly? I would like to convert my 1772 from the rag joint setup to the CV joint setup. I'm looking specifically for a unit out of a 1782 or a 2182 so that it will need the least amount of tweaking. I want the whole thing from where it attaches to the motor to where it attaches to the input shaft on the hydro.
