I haven't been outside yet however it looks like we've just over two inches. It's still snowing and blowing yet. By Wednesday the temperature is supposed to be above freezing.

This is bull crap!!

We have about 2.5 inches of snow and still falling. They are calling for 3-6.
I blame myself for this because I just took my 100 back out to my parents barn for the summer last week.

We've got 12"+ on the ground, but as always I'm sure someone has at least twice that.

Tell ya what, repowering the 782 with a Command and adding power steering makes quick work of the place! right here

Wyatt, that was fun to watch!

Mike C., that'll move some snow!

We got about 2" or so yesterday and much of it melted by the end of the day. More should be gone today. I have yet to use my Cub Cadet to clear snow this winter.

Oh well, saves wear and tear on it.

Hey Digger - I got the impression everyone's got real busy on the east coast with snow. I don't know what happened to all the guys in the midwest. They musta put out buckets to catch rain drops. And talk about rain, I haven't seen a day of sunshine in more than a month - and if I can believe the weatherman it's probably gonna be another month. If it ever stops I gotta yard full of moss to get rid'a, and plant grass. Dang, maybe I oughta move back your way.

I'm still here. Just waiting for warmer and better weather to get here. Between snow and rain followed by mud everywhere there isn't much use getting out any Cubs. This weekend is supposed to be good weather though and I'm finally going to Oskaloosa.

One more thing. We have creeping charlie/jenny really bad on the lawn. Any suggestions short of digging up the whole lawn and reseeding? Would it help if I put down some new grass seed extra heavy after discing the yard? TIA.

I've got to see the tax man today. Hopefully the cub fund isn't impacted too badly
angry.gif

I like spring, annual tax season, not so much. Got the 1200 running the other day, I think it's time to at least clean the points up again. Time before that, would have helped if I remembered I borrowed the spark plug wire to test another tractor and didn't firmly press it back on the coil!!

Tire question;
How do having ags on the front wheels perform? Are they harder to steer versus turfs or ribbed?

I would not be using them to mow with, but the 1200 may turn into more of a utility tractor this year when I get the 782 settled into mowing duty. I'm hoping to get a set of V-61'S and hope to replace another set of fronts at the same time.

i'm in hilton ethan, about 200 miles but i have a camp near tupper lake in the adirondacks. she definitely moves some snow kraig.....

Good question, Earl. Personally, I don't think ags look right on a 2WD tractor, no matter which way they're facing. I honestly never thought of the serviceability factor.
