More 104 questions....
Coil...painted or black?
Coil bracket....painted of bare?
I'm assuming here that the whole shebang was painted as an assly at Kohler before being shipped.

Personally, I feel the engine at least, looks better with shiny new fasteners and brackets left unpainted, but in reality, that probably did not happen.
What say you guys and what do you like to se in a "restored", on display unit?

IMHO, anything electrical should be left unpainted.
Even the wires.
Everything else is OK to paint, except the carb, choke cable and throttle cable ends.

BUT!
If it's a true full resto, paint everything, and make sure you have some runs and dried drips when you get done!

Got the runs and dried drips covered!!

Darn wind the other day took care of that little detail!!

John L, I'll be making her a bit prettier, but not even close to a resto. With Marty's 100 resto and the axle pin issues he found, I will look into that at least. Something is to be said about the quick attach system IH came up with later. More importantly it gives me plenty of reasons to have multiple models!

David, you likely already know this but don't paint the head either. It will dissipate heat much better if left unpainted.

Maybe these will put a little wind in your sails!
If anyone knows him.
These tractors belong to Jeremy Haag.

Oh to be young again! Nice pictures, indeed! Not what my wife would want! Ha! Very nice IH Cub Cadets, and a pretty, young woman who has her whole life ahead of her!

Cant wait for my hydro pump rebuild kit, and 1/4" wheel spacers for my 1450 Quiet Line! Many thanks again Charlie!

Yes, the girl is very beautiful. However the photoshop work is fantastic. Both the girl and the Cub Cadet look three dimensional. Those pictures woud make a neat calnder/ I wish that I had that kind of talent with pictures. BTW.... I used to date girls that beautiful. Now they're young enough to be my granddaughter.

I like the sleeve hitch to draw bar adapter on the 100. And just in case you hadn't noticed it or can't see it because you are otherwise distracted...:

Charlie, any chance you have a higher resolution version of that? If so, could I convince you to email it to me? All sorts of detail there to study.

David

That 100 has got some nice freaking headlights!!

The "O"... wow. She's probably way smarter than me too.

Just ordered a small lot of tune up stuff and a few things to keep on hand for the 125...thanks Charlie

The hood on the 100 looks very nice in the second picture
