There's a LAW in the Cub world that ALL must abide by!
One tractor for every implement! Those the rules so you have to go by them.

i finally got the resize on the pics down. i have rebuilt wire harness already. not sure if i should repaint and do a complete restore or just clean up and leave original

charlie. ok now i know the rules. where i live i do not need a snow thrower, maybe a plow on one of them so i will have to do some swapping. these cadets are awesome. true american workmanship

WellWoo Hoo! I've got me a good transaxle. I had previously pulled this (suspect) unit from a rusted hunk of stuff, pressure washed a ton of grit off it and built a rolling work stand out of an old grocery cart to get it up to waist height. Turned down a lengh of aluminum roundbar to sleeve and pin the transaxle input shaft and the other end turned down to accommodate a 1/2" drill chuck. Filled with tractor supply hydrostatic trans fluid and a new filter and cranked it over. After a minute of circulating oil through the filter I hand engaged the trans and she shifted smoothly fwd and rev. Awesome. Had the top cover off the gearcase to watch the fluid level and gears. Way cool. Will try for a video soon.

Now I have a question.
On a QA42A, what is the purpose of the welded on bolt on the lift side of the mounting frame?
I've checked the 4 that I have and only one of them has the bolt and the others have an empty hole.

For some reason I see a guy standing over a blender with the lid off and hitting the start button!

Tim,
If I found one that looked that good I would clean it up and leave alone.A nice set of fenders would look nice on it.It would be neat to find a #1 trailer to pull behind it. I would say to pull that fine looking boy in,but if he's like mine,he will want to be up in your lap steering. My 6yr. old got to big for that,so he drives and I ride in the cart.LOL

I picked up this loader today on the east side of Indiana. The three hour drive was not bad now that the roads are clear. I am the third owner of the loader. The gentleman who sold it told he didn't think it had ever been used. It was on a Cyclops when he got it a few years ago. He also got a snow blower and a turning plow in the deal. At this time he isn't sure if he wants to sell them. I have a Super in mind for this loader.

rod, thanks that is kind of what i thought. done the maintenance on it and she runs great. everything works so i am thinking about leaving it alone. just clean off the grease with some soap. my father in law says leave it alone and leave it all original.

Matt,
That was IH's thought, but still doesn't go on in 5 minutes. For me it's a good stand for summer storage sitting level.

There are exceptions to every rule, and I think we can all agree that you and a very few others,QUALIFY!

But for the rest of us, I'm stickin my my statement, especially since my wife says it's ok.

But Charlie,,, Are you close to having every attachment yet?

CHARLIE,
My wife takes to change real well!
As long as it's changing to a new purse, new pair of shoes,or a new outfit.
