I need a new muffler for my Narrow Body 10 hp 127. Anyone ever buy and had good luck with an aftermarket unit?. OEM are way too pricey.

OEM mufflers have been NLA for over 4 years. So it's after market or NOS.

Tons of options on EBAY. Aftermarket shipped to your door for $43 plus tax. There is an NOS unit up for auction $33 plus $17 shipping starting bid..

Not NOS, but they work.
Anyone know why IH made a shiny looking one and a black one?
I do have one NOS like Charlie posted.

I put a muffler on a 14hp Kohler a few days ago. I used 1" galvanized pipe pieces and a couple 90 deg elbows then an Arnold muffler on end. It's not stock but quiet and I'm sure will last.
