I thought about ags,

But since it's going to be a mowing tractor, I decided to go with turfs instead.

They give it a little wider stance.

It's got some cool seat bumpers though!

I bet those little diesel tractors will save a bunch on the fuel bill cutting grass . I bet it will soon be one of your favourites to run.

Charlie, did you ever get all the "diesel additive" out of that thing?

Oh, and what ever happened to the Flying Squirrel?

Kraig,
After 6 fuel filters, it finally runs descent, LOL

He's stopped by here about a year ago, and he emails now and then.

Of course we all know, He'll never change!!!

He's GOOD people!

Charlie, good to see you working on that. Is it going to get paint anytime soon? Next time you talk with Kurt, please say hello for me.

Kraig,
Still no paint, LOL

Since the mowing tractor thing didn't work as planned!

BUT, I got to thinking today. (No smart remarks from the peanut gallery).

Since the 782D was the only actual running machine I had left after the fire, and I had nothing small to move snow with.
I had a 450 that I had brought up in the move setting under one of the semi trailers, I thought what the heck! LOL

So I drove it to the shop up the hill and proceeded to check things out a little.
2 minutes after I refired it, that freakin cooling fan exploded, What a PITA to put a new one on is, Grrrrr.

Got that 10 minute project that turned into a hour, sigh.

Grabbed the Kubota, drug the 450 out and brought it in. Here again, I'd rather hook up 40 QA throwers than one 450, LOL

Got it hooked up, and it blows air really well!

Then it was on to getting the fenders raised to clear the chains for snow duty this winter, (IF we get any that is, sigh!)

At least I've got backups if it doesn't do well.

What size rear tires are you using Charlie? I remember, probably you who told me, that 26x12x12 needs the fenders raised when I talked about putting on my 1200. I assume most 82 series and older, minus 982, need spacers. I'd love for my regular 782 to be a wide track! I'm glad you have something left from before.

Yes I painted it satin black, LOL
No it's not bedliner.

I did it just for winter, but the more I look at it, the more I like it, so this spring, it's down to bare metal, in the paint booth and satin black for good.

I like the satin black! Going to paint the blower to match?

Charlie, you could/should at least paint the inside of the auger/blower housing and discharge chute with Slip-Plate which is satin black. It'll look good and work great.

All ready to blow and nothing hittin the ground yet, LOL
Front tires didn't make it in time, Grrrr
Might have to throw some chains on the front to get by!

@#$&+#@#!! Wow that looks great!! Maybe I'll have to try putting what's left of my cab on 782 now, I like how that looks!!

Charlie, that looks great! I like the color.
