Hi I am working on my engine and wondering if I need to machine one of the intake valves. I am getting a measurement of .017 and the book calls .006 acceptable. I Do not have any real experience in this field so I could use a little help. Is this tolerance difference going to be a issue at some point in future. Is it possible for machine shop to take a little off seating to lengthen? I will have more questions as I move thru engine and in to the tractor it self. ie hydro., steering; and mower. thank you
