Hi Everyone,

I've got a 2185 with the Kohler Command CH-18 V-twin that has started missing when it warms up. I haven't been able to take it apart to really investigate, so I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and what they found. It has about 600 hrs on it and has been a really good mower for what I have in it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Stuart

change your plugs and wires. Might be a simple fix.

Hi Matt and Everett,

Thank you for your replies. I had thought about the coil, but I had to put a new (used) carb on it after I broke the original and so far after two mowings with it, it has been running fine.... but if it starts again, I'm going to seriously look at the coils. One needs to be replaced anyway as the wire has the insulation cut. I don't know why Kohler just didn't make it where you could replace the plug wires with out changing the coil, too.

Thanks,

Stuart
