i have a cub that i am able to start and runs fine but when i put it in gear and release the clutch and it would not move. i have checked the wiring of the clutch switch and it was good. i just restored it and replaced all of the switches.

You could have an internal issue with the transaxle. First, disable the ignition system, Then remove the tunnel cover, press the clutch pedal and keep the pedal fully down, then spin the driveshaft by hand to make sure it spins freely. Then put it in gear and spin again. You should feel resistance, and the tractor should try to move a little bit.
