1882 slow reverse

My cub goes foreward pretty fast but is very slow in reverse. is there an adjustment for this ?

Reverse the relief valves and you'll go fast in reverse and slow in forward! Then you'll know that you have to have yours repaired or replaced.

1641 doesn't have relief valves, If it did, I would have told you. It has a goofy internal relief system.

I had a 129 for years with a ton of hours. Never had a problem. My 1882 has 700 pampered hours. Are the older machines just better ?

Any machine is better if it's maintained and not abused.
IF, it's not the economy version.
