I think my main seal on my 1864 is shot, drive shaft side,18 hp kolar. What has to be done to replace the seal?

I just replaced my 1863 main seal. Had to take the battery off, slide tray back, remove fire wall, remove drive shaft (from both ends, p.s. check bearings in these joints while they are out), remove blower guard, remove blower, pull flywheel (don't loose key), your down to seal now. Use seal pick to remove and replace with socket large enough to provide uniform pressure when tapping back on. Reverse order everything and your running again. No timing issues to be concerned with.
