1863 cub cadet

I just bought a cub cadet model #142653-100,,ser#825207,,style #1863.looking to find out more information on the tractor.It has hydraulic mower lift and power steering with tilt wheel.looking for some parts,starter motor ,left hand side cowl,I want to restore the cub once I start I am sure I will need more parts.i have been told it was built by international harvester sometime me between 1986 and 1990 it's a 16 hp kohler motor.If there is anyone out there with info I would be grateful for your help. The 142-653-100 is a 1641 and doesn't have power steering. You might post a pic so we all know what it is. With the ser#825207, it's not IH built.

Correct no power steering.having issues leading pics not to high tech savy.any idea what year the cub is,based on the vin on the plate

Les, ser# and 16HP motor would put this as a model 1641 made in 1992 by Cub Cadet Corp (CCC) which is ultimately produced under MTD.

As you can see, they're similar so if your tag has a ser# 825207 and the side shields have 1863 on it, I'd be willing to bet someone replaced the side shields with another set they found elsewhere.
