I picked up an 1811 with a stuck carb float that filled the case and even had some crap back up into the cyclinders,I pulled the heads and cleaned the cyclinders out drained the fuel oil out and was going to flush out with fresh oil and change and should probly rebuild the carb, but is there anything else i should be concerned about with the fuel getting into the blk??

Roger, I checked on the Parts Lookup and the 1811 has a fuel pump. I bet it's a diaphragm type and the diaphragm has a hole in it. Time for a rebuild kit AND a fuel shut off valve installed inline between the fuel tank and fuel pump. It's good practice to close the fuel shut off valve each time you shut it off to prevent this from happening in the future.

thanks for the info ill look into the fuel pump also,I just couldnt pass it up for $50.00

$50!

There use to be a guy on here that bought a 127 and drove it home. Filled it with gas and greased it and mowed his yard. A year later he was still using it ... for $50 !

I had a guy give me a 105 with a deck because he just wanted it out of his way.

I ended up giving him a $20-bill because I whined so much about moving a dead hydro he started up his skid-steer and carefully put it in the bed of my pick up.

Roger-
I'd pull the gas-tank and dump out any crap that could be in there...

I swaped out tanks and put on a new filter, was looking at rebuilding the fuel pump but the case IH dealer told me cant be done i need a new pump? also im at a loss as to the right position of the oil lines to the remote filter at the engine block, ive looked in the manual but dont seet it as too the A line or B line location being the top or bottom port on the klock?

Roger, try this till someone else gives a response.
Go up to the yellow bar and click on 'Search'
Put in 'remote oil filter'
At Keyword= AND
At Match= whole words only
Hit Search and check out what you find. Looks like an answer is there (somewhere).

thanks for the link Matt,it does say in the kohler man not serviceable on the fuel pump, I ended up getting one through NAPA no shipping and will have it tomorrow. Im suprised at the parts napa can get and cheaper than the Case IH dealer
