Mowing with 1811 one hour, mower /PTO shuts off itself three random times & will engage again immediately. Is it time for new PTO Switch?

Jump across that stupid seat switch and see that fixes the problem.
My 1641 seat switch is the same, if it's not down just right it will cut out the PTO for a split second and re-engage.

I'd suspect either a bad ground, bad relay, or bad ignition switch, in that order. Also possible some other connection in the safety cutout circuit is bad.

Key switch has acted up. had to jump across posts on solenoid to start once. Then next start, the key worked. Matt, what relay? I think key switch is first try...

There's a relay for the PTO clutch safety circuits. Should be on the dash tower under the LH side panel unless somebody moved it.
