in line fuse holder went bad so i removed and wired directly (no fuse) I know bad idea because i am sure I fried something. Finally replaced ne in line fuse to selenoid. Turn key all i hear is a click. I can start by jumping across selenoid but when i do the mover deck wont turn on. Also when running I have no lights. I am trying to avoid long haul to cub dealer. ANy suggestions would be appreciated. I am sure I burnt something up when I wired direct without fuse.

Will I'm not familiar with your unit but, if you go back to the home page and slide to the bottom, you will find 'wiring diagrams'. Go look at your unit and see if you can find anything there that may help you.

It sounds to me like your ignition switch has failed! Use the wiring diagram to test for power output from the switch in the "run" and "start" positions.

mfrade thanks it was the ignition. Must have fried it when i bypassed the fuse. Now starter will barely turn, do you think I burned it up as well.

Will,
Sounds to me like you have a voltage drop. Is there a heavy cable going to and off your switch?( should be the size of the batt cables) If not then I would bet on a voltage drop. could be starter relay, bad conection, loose ground. Now all that could make your starter go bad. I would check all that before I pulled the starter. I am not familiar with the unit your working on @ all. Hope this gets in in the right direction. Jim
