I am having trouble with my 1450 hydraulics. The hydraulic lift doesn’t work at high rpm’s or wot. It works ok at low idle. It was slow operating before I changed the cork gasket but still worked and the tractor’s hydro transmission still works. Goes forward and backwards. Any advice would be great. Thank you.

Rotate charge pump 180 degrees.

If the tractor drives fine, the charge pump and hydro unit are likely fine. I'd be looking for a crushed hydraulic line or something in the linkage of the control valve that is not allowing it to move to its limits.

Thank you. Tearing things down right now to flip the charge pump again. Confusing part is the lift works at idle but not at a elevated rpm. I will post my findings. Thank you again.

If you did't flip the charge pump in the first place, I would rule that out. I would be looking at the couplers and roll pins, if okay didja put a new filer on? what type?

How's the fluid level? ... and what Lewis said/\.

What model filter is it? Cub Cadet? Not all filters are alike. The FAQs have a list of all acceptable filters.

Did you follow Matt's suggestion of looking for a pinched line? My 782 had a stuck valve that had to be freed up with penetrating oil, and the lift handle was out of position.

After going over everything again and not finding anything I did change the filter again and it’s working great. These are the things that are hard to figure out. Clean oil and a filter like I said it can’t have 4 hours on the tractor. Thank you for all of the great advice and support.

Maybe the filter just picked up some gunk during the change. Or maybe it was a defective filter that failed after a few hours.

Good to hear you have it working.
