Have a 1330, just for kids to play with, no deck. Rats got to the wiring, so I'd like to repair but simplify this. Don't need safeties, don't need PTO (unless there's something cool I can do w/ it). Just need it to run and charge, lights. Can someone markup up the diagram or just draw up an easy one. I've seen youtube ones, but there are more wires on this mower than I can imagine.

Thank you. I pulled the manual off of here, but thought someone might be able to just draw some "Straight lines" to bypass stuff.

OK, so I think I have it simplified. I am going to cut out lots of the stuff, but still use the switch.

Switch Terminals:
S --> straight to solenoid
B --> no change
L --> Lights (will cut out dash lights)
M --> straight to coil / kill light

R --> What is the R for?
I think it's for the PTO, can I just
put a jumper back to B?

Ok. I saw my mistake on the B. So should the charging cable go to the battery post on the solenoid too?

Can't even find the rectifier on the diagram. I've found pics, looks like 3 terminals.

Just need to get it running and moving. One day will try to do something cool with it for the boys.

So here's what I have so far. Just need to know how to route the "R" if anyone could mark that line.

I've seen on some Briggs that the charge wire comes behind the starter and goes to the battery.

Put the red wire on the "A" post of the switch.....common with battery when switch is in run or run/lights position......it will charge as long as its connected to a common battery circuit.

PTO should come off A pin at switch as well..... you don't want it on with the key off.....dead battery for sure. I would consider a relay and dedicated fuse for the PTO...keeps high electrical loads off of the key switch (the are prone to overheating connectors at the pins).

NEVER put voltage on the mag kill wire....ground ONLY.

Am I over thinking: When I tank everything out, will the rectifier still be hooked up? Is it a hidden thing?

Is it just a model 1330 or are there letters in the model as well.
I.E. 1330LGT? I'm trying to look up parts and see if I can find a diagram

Just 1330 I found the diagram on this site. Thank y'all for your help with this.

The rectifier is on the engine not on the tractor chassis. It is usually located on the engine blower housing near the fan / flywheel.

Well, got it done. Schematic wasn't great, and they must have had 812 wires to sort out, but works with key switch.

Question, didn't want to run my lights off the key switch. I know they need to only work when running (don't run battery down). Do I just run a switch off of the alternator wire to lights?
