is there a different between a 128 driveshaft and a 1200driveshaft---thanks

short answer is yes. 1200 driveshaft is set up to work with the ISO mount system of the engine. 128 driveshaft is not.

The lengths are different and the one has more holes in it.

Coul.d you replace and entire 128 driveshaft with a 1200? Like engine to transmission...

Similar to a 149 with a 1450 replace the driver and dowel on a 149 with the rag joints on a 1450....

There is not really anything to gain by doing this.
