1250 Hydrostatic issue?

Hi all,

I'm still a noob to cub cadets. I was just out mowing and noticed that I don't have a very good speed range on my 1250. Unless I move the speed control most of the way forward (a bit fast for mowing my small yard), she will slow down to neutral. Is this common?

First thing is to make sure the rear end fluid is full. Then move on to adjusting the hydro.

Thanks. I just checked the fluid and it is full. The filter looks very old, though. I'll check the FAQ that you linked to.
