Hey,

My uncle gave me his 70's 1200 quiet line lawn tractor that had been sitting for a while. The clutch was all seized so I replaced the clutch plate and the 3 pin plate that bolts on the engine. Now my problem is the 3 pin plate doesn't go far enough through the clutch plate and only the longer pin actually goes through, the other 2 pins only reach about half way through the clutch plate and if I engage the clutch it drops out of place. Not sure if I'm missing some parts or what is the issue here. The only obvious solution I see is redrill the engine mount bolts to move the engine closer to the clutch but seems like quite the hack.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Gabe welcome to the forum, take your question over to the main forum page, you will get more help there, not too many guys read this thread.

You can also go to the banner button near the top and click on parts look up and it gives you pictures. And if you go to the bottom and go to manuals thread, there is a manual download for your garden tractor.

Gabe are you sure you have the right clutch for
for your 1200? The driver plate is different than
older gear drives.
