    Snow Removal Advice for 1650

I'd be using the 1650 with a QA-42A 4 paddle blower! I use a 149 and my place and another 149 at my dads. I have blown plenty of heavy and deep snow with both. plenty of weight on the back, chains or straps if you can find them are a must. I'd have more pics but I'm not a big fan of being...

    My first “barn find”

    Very Nice!

Pair of 1450's just got last week.

Nice! Some day I may have a 1450 that I keep, I have owned 3 of them, all in poor condition, traded 1 for a 149, parted the other 2. I know of one in a shed needing a motor, or needing to repair it. And I think its a dual stick unit, I haven't seen it in 10+ years.

Tractor Wanted Scott Urschel still in business in Indiana?

Same here, great guy, sometimes tough to get through to. He only communicates through phone calls or texting.

    very unusual wheel treatment

Well inside or internal curb feelers. then my guess is some sort of attachment point for homemade chains or cable, for use in the snow and ice? He couldn't turn when having a heavy snowthrower hanging on the front, he had a welder and an idea? I am trying narrow 4x8 tri ribs on the front of...

    Cub Cadet 129

A long bolt on each side bolted on to the seat support to level it out. they scratched up the fender pan. I installed a toolbox from Xtreme to cover this and the dented up back middle section of the fender pan

    Cub Cadet 129

Finished the 129 last week. This thing fought me all the way. I did not share the custom stacked trunnion springs. I bought a 10.5 Tru Power to match with the one I previously had, loaded 5.5 gallons of fluid into each. Its ready for Plowdays next month.

    Cub Cadet 129

Picked up a 129 and a parts 1450 on Friday. Will get the 129 running smoothly soon, and hope transfer the 1450 hydro lift and rear into it. I tried to buy both of these at an online auction a month or so ago but got outbid. I saved myself a $100 by finding them a month later. The guy thought...

    Mini 1466 clone

Welp, this good fun build has come to an end. I was offered enough on Friday to watch a guy load and take this Mini IH 1466 home. Next custom build is in the plans, however its not going to be soon. I thought about this one 10 plus years ago, then took 5 plus years to build. My 122, 100, and...

The next project, early National reel mower

Crude but functional Mower used on Golf Courses everywhere years ago, probably many still in use today.. No or not much guarding on these. In 2005 or so I went to Beverly Hills Country Club to do a training on sharpening, beautiful course, beautiful maintenance shop. I was amazed they had...

    Mini 1466 clone

Plowday was a success! Pulling the 2 bottom was NOT. The ground was really hard, lotsa spinning and 2 bottoms proved to be too much. I hooked up my 10” brinly and it was plenty

    Mini 1466 clone

I drew up the idea on cardboard,, then an engineer here at work designed them. Same thing for the rear wheel weights.
