My local JD Dealer cross referenced it for me.

    Haban deck belt issue

I have an 1872 with the 60” Haban deck It acts as if the belt is too long- I bought a belt 1” shorter and it was better briefly, but now acts like it’s too long again. Any idea what I need to be looking at? Mule drive pulleys look fine. The deck pulley seems like it could be opening up. Is that...

682 Loader Tractor Kohler Command Engine Swap

How do you like the foot pedal hydro setup? My wife loves foot pedal controls so I've been thinking of making that change. How much was just pulled from a donor tractor and how much was fabricated?

    Frame supports for SGT.

Are those mounts the same as the rear mount for the Haban 60" deck? My mower has a 60" Haban but its missing the rear mounting bracket that keeps it from twisting side-side. It looks like the bracket connects to this mount that holds the rear of the snowplow on. Anyone have a line on one of...

I'd wager a new driveshaft would be a good investment as well.

    3 pt / sleeve hitch / drop pin / hitch reciever ?

I'm pretty sure XTreme Motorworks has an adapter to make that plow work with a sleeve hitch. They also have lots of sleeve hitch parts. And if you really want a Cat 0 3 point hitch, they probaby can set you up with a kit to make that work as well. I'd give them a call.

Where did you get the powder and what color is a match for Cub Cadet yellow? Forgive me if this has been asked before.

    Rear wheels

I'd like to know more about how to identify correct front and rear rims for Originals. If anyone could share some photos that would be great.

    126 refurb.

David, What do you do in the area of the clutch arms that rides against the throw-out bearing? Weld it up and grins smooth? Replace the arm??? Just curious. I have welded them up before and it seems to work, but we mostly pull with our tractors so they don't see a lot of hours.

    Hiccup

Its always the condenser. Ok, OK, its not always, but its quite often the remedy and its cheapo and easy to change so it has become my go-to whenever I have one that seems mechanically sound but does not start or run quite right.

Seafoam.... to use or not to use, that is the question.

I have seen Sea Foam take an engine that would only run on choke and make it idle and run perfectly and I have never seen Sea Foam do any harm. I'm not saying it is a replacement for taking a carburetor apart and cleaning it, but it definitely does work as advertised. As far as using it as a...

    cub cadet tractors

Don, I am looking for a recoil for an Original. Also a sleeve hitch and spring assist. I would also be interested if you had a PTO transmission (either for an original or a narrow frame). Please let me know if you think you have anything, I live in Upstate NY and would love to come have a look...

    1872 Refurbish/Command Swap

Hey Matt, There is a way to add an adjustable Jet to that carburetor. Drill and tap a hole in the back of the carburetor where there is a welch plug now- just above the shutoff solenoid. Drill out your main jet a bit, then thread an adjuster into the tapped hole. Adjusters can be bought from any...
