    Monkeying around in Shultzie's garage

Let me get back with you on that. It might be a while. Pretty busy in the fall. I will work up a good print to share.

Using the old #2 cart for what it was advertised for. I can't seem to find the full page from where this picture came from.

    Monkeying around in Shultzie's garage

You know while we are on the subject of newer B&S engines. Look at this ol' girl. She's been running strong for many years. Not sure what year it is but I'm guessing late 60's to early 70's. I've had it for probably 20 years and this starts after only a few pulls after sitting all winter and...

    Monkeying around in Shultzie's garage

Yeah, I thought about that, but I think it will be OK. I do set a partial log there now and then but I'll just be aware that they are there. Usually for me the logs go dropping off the other side.

    Monkeying around in Shultzie's garage

My latest project for the last couple days was replacing the engine in the Huskee Log splitter. I have been worried about the old B&S because it has been starting harder and harder as time goes. Well I finally had enough. Harbor Freight sells these replacement engines that is supposed to be a...

    Monkeying around in Shultzie's garage

Had to be on the road for 3 days last week for work, so I'm a little behind schedule. I got the mower deck welded up and put back on last night. Wife is happy to be mowing again.

RAllison, Yeah, it might be. LOL On top of the mower deck I had the string on the leaf blower break. When it rains it pours.

    Monkeying around in Shultzie's garage

I got it prepped for welding last night. I believe it will be OK. I also found some wear in other places I plan to take care of while I have it off.

Yeah, I'm gonna clean it up a bit and bring it to work.

    Monkeying around in Shultzie's garage

It was another mowing day yesterday. The zero turn broke again. This got ripped off the mower deck. Stacey said "it's not mowing right, something is wrong". I think it started out just being a bad pulley, but we use headphones when mowing. That's risky because you can't hear the mower well...

Parts Wanted Key switch for 1000

How come our smiley faces don't work as good as they used to? :scratchhead:

Parts Wanted Key switch for 1000

OK, I spent a little time on it last night. (I mean very little time) LOL I took the tunnel cover off and saw that the switch was already bypassed. The wires were spliced together. I also made sure the PTO switch was off. Still nothing happens. Wiggles some more wires and still nothing. :bash...

Parts Wanted Key switch for 1000

Looking for a good used ignition switch for this. When I bought it a few weeks ago it started right up with no issues. Now that it's home I can't get it to do anything. I've looked for a loose wire or detached wire and everything looks good. I called the guy that I bought it from and he said I...

    All Things Deer

    Monkeying around in Shultzie's garage

My son and I had to move some stuff in the barn and needed to move a couple tractors out. He snapped this photo because he said he had to. I like how he uses the filters on his camera. I thought it turned out cool.

    Score!

Yeah, that's for sure. The highway near me is closed for some bridge work. I have to take an alternate route to work. I found this on a back road I don't travel much.
