    Need advice ,opinions on 1872 engine problem

    so like he had some spark knock. Also to maybe prevent it from doing it again in the future maybe try and pull the head off and clean it. It should be cleaned ever 250-500 hrs to remove carbon deposits that cause spark knock.

    PTo didn't get hot it sounds like there a short in the circuit. Chech the white wire going form your ignition switch to your PTO Switch.

    2072 PTO wiring

    ground the relay its acts like the Hold In winding on an Atuomotive starter and has to be grounded.
