    Mounting a sickle bar mower

    Looking at pictures of how the sickle bar mowers attach, I'd say it's definitely do-able. At least worth purchasing and giving it a try! Worse case, you clean up the bar a little and sell it if it doesn't work out OR you use this as an excellent opportunity to buy a 104 and grow your fleet!

    reusing an old lawn vacuum

    That's a pretty cool idea! I don't have anything like that around, but I do have the makings of a hydraulic system (small ram, power steering pump, valves and old lines). I'd like to make some sort of fun attachment with those some day.
