    Didn't know this was a common question, I haven't really prowled the forum for an answer yet. I looked through the manual and it just said "hydraulic oil" and i wanted to make sure i got the right stuff.

    i have a 1969 125 that i am working on the hydrostatic on. I took the back cover off and surprise surprise, the oil was the consistency of grape jelly. What hydraulic oil weight can i use to replace it and what is the best way to clean out the system? thanks in advance!

    I posted on monday that I got a 125 from my grandfather that had been sitting outside for two years, and i am here to update that I have gotten it to run! I have tagged a short video below. Now on to the hydrostatic, wish me luck!
