    The linear motor looks like a regular hydrloic cylinder except for the motor on one end, it has holes on both ends, bolted the motor end to the lift arm where i removed the lift rod,the linear motors come in varios lenghts & touqe power

    My right arm is disabled, so I used a 12 volt lienar motor off of E-Bay on my Cub Cadet 108 and mounted a double pole double throw momentary swich. mounted it to the lift arm in the up position and made a lift linkage out of flat steel stock, also rigged a gear motor to the chute rotation

    Sand the points with sandpaper,new points have acoating on them to prevent corrosion, I have a 1972 108 installed new ignition components and it wouldn't start till i filed or sanded the points

    Had the same problem with mine,,worked fine, then after 2 weeks of rain in N.Y. clutch would no disengauge, used a clamp to hold the brake/clutch pedal down and found the clutch disk stuck to flywheel tapped it a frew times with a screwdriver handle,,,alls fine
