Terry B --- You's got SALT WATER in your rims? maybe not as corrosive as the calcium chloride, but yikes!!! sounds like trouble down the road to meeeeee! an excelent alternative is rv antifreeze .... its antifreeze, and it's biodegradeable, so its eco friendly....

Digger-- RE: our sponsors... yeah they're good to all of us... but if you notice in Matt's post, the spiroll pins are $$$ from the dealer, where as McMaster-Carr has them for much more reasonable price.... I see it this way... saving money on parts like this means more $$ for more cubs or...

Roy: as roland said, your tractor was retrofitted with the M18. there are (at least!) two different ways to wire up the tractor, one of which requires a relay (i have that schematic, but it's not my own, so i dont want to post it here) the other way to wire it up, roland helped me with awhile...

Dennis F- guys over at redpower forum want to troubleshoot the problem, rather than give me the steps to adjust the carb/and or linkage... but it's hard to troubleshoot the tractor one step at a time, it's over 2 hours away!

steve-- not 100% on what's in the smaller windbreakers for the windshield, but in the one off of my dad's 656, he got a thin sheet of plexi and cut to fit. lexan might be too stiff, but the plexi curved nice.

brian- one could probably get away with a 12 hp model, but a 14 or 16 or higher would work best, especially if the ground is typically harder/more clay content, etc. as for gear/hydro, that's up to you.

luthor... can't be the wrong s/g or s/g pulley...tractor has been in the family since new, and the s/g rebuilt once. i suspect, beyond the positioning of the crank pulley, that the mount for the s/g that bolts onto the block may be misaligned... is there a specific way to measure that or just...

i've been reading through the faq, havent really found the right answer/info. having a problem keeping a belt on the s/g pulley/engine pulley on a 109, the pulley on the engine isnt in line with the s/g pulley. first step was replacing the pulley, as it seemed a little wobbly on the crank...

charlie-- yeah i know how to use the parts lookup... comes from working at a repair shop for a good while. yeah it is listed as the right one, i'm just trying to figgure out if it is still the right one, and not a yellow plastic one that 'should work' like what the dealer wants to sell...

not neccessarily looking to buy just yet, so not in the want ads, but does anyone have a p/n and/or availability info for the throttle knob and handle assembly for a 782? original mechanism is broke, and only thing cub dealer says is available is a plastic yellow one from a new cub ?
