What is the fate of that 1450 with John Deere taking over? Might we see it in the classifieds?

    Hello from Western PA

I got my first Cub a couple months ago and already thinking about the next one... These guys aren't kidding when they call it an addiction!

Quick Attachment for Rear Mounted Leaf Blower

Turns out it is too wide for the QA up front as well. I wonder what the heck it attached to! I can email the guy via Craigslist possibly, he still had some parts for a snowthrower for sale. As far as I know a 106 is very similar to my 107 but gear drive, is that correct? Any major differences...

    Tractor Lifts

I've been meaning to get some taller jackstands for automotive work as well, I'll have to keep an eye on harbor freight and Craigslist.

    Tractor Lifts

Thanks for posting this, I've been wondering the same! I would love a lifting table/platform but need to wait for the right deal on one. I have a winch on my Jeep, as well as a 500lb drill winch and 1 ton chain hoist, but none of those really keep me from laying on the ground from time to time...

Quick Attachment for Rear Mounted Leaf Blower

This is what I was hoping for, but the width of the narrow end is exactly that of the lower mount brackets, so it won't fit "between". I think the rods are thicker than the holes on the lower mount as well. It might fit on the front Quick Attach, I am going to check into that further next time...

Quick Attachment for Rear Mounted Leaf Blower

I'll check to see if it might fit on the front of my 107, perhaps he meant front-mount leaf blower which I have seen videos of.

    Steering Wheel Removal

I sure am! Each time I am out in the garage I try to hit it with PB and give it 5 minutes of effort. I had seen a similar method earlier and have been thinking that might be my next route. I think I have some hardwood scrap in the garage.

    Steering Wheel Removal

I am really struggling with removal of my 107's steering wheel. I have tried both methods in Cub Cadet FAQ without any sign of progress. I am using PB Blaster, thinking I will try Kano Kroil next (not trying to start a war!). Any tips folks have to offer? I have been hitting it with the...

Quick Attachment for Rear Mounted Leaf Blower

Picked this and a couple misc parts up off Craigslist today. I can't find anything online or on ccmanuals.info about this specific attachment, is anyone here familiar with this? The Gentleman I bought it from said he had a 106, and I plan to use it as a base for a rear mounted 5 gallon bucket...

The 1620 mailbox numbers on the hood and lack of details about the rebuilt motor had me a bit leary.

ha! Storage definitely becoming a problem here. We decided to hold off on moving to a bigger house for the winter. My wife and I had to talk ourselves out of buying a second cub that I found on Craigslist, it would have to sit on a trailer at a storage lot anyway unfortunately. It seemed like a...

Very cool. I had heard of some models having some form of aux hydraulics, maybe that is what I will look out for once space allows for a second machine...

    Winter, 2019-2020

I have a black (Rust-Oleum rattle can special) Allis Chalmers WC to thank for my "appreciation" of what a tractor is and can do. My step father in law used it to develop his 30 acres of raw iron range land. I don't get too hung up on color, though I can surely appreciate and admire the time and...

    Winter, 2019-2020

Here's my setup: I have a tiny lot in a first ring suburb of Minneapolis, but my paver driveway is a decent size. I also tend to clear the driveway of the elderly neighbor lady across the alley. The Toro snowblower was free from a friend, needing a belt, carb cleaning, and some misc nuts and...

Is the hydraulic angle blade a custom fabrication? I don't have aux ports on my 107, but have been thinking about how handy a powered angle would be, and I'm looking for an excuse to do something with hydraulics.

Cub Cadet gen. Info and Implement Cross Ref.

Do you have some specific tasks in mind for the tractor? Are you looking for a worker or a full restoration project, or maybe something in between? I personally found a running tractor and have been adding on as I go. I started with replacing the wheels and purchasing a used plow for the snow...

Cub Cadet gen. Info and Implement Cross Ref.

I found this article very informative before I pulled the trigger on my 107. It gives a nice history with key differences between generations called out. https://www.farmcollector.com/tractors/tough-international-harvester-cub-cadet

    Sheds and Shops

Maybe it's just my eyes or computer screen, but that bottom color looks more like a Cub Cadet yellow ;). Either way, cool design, and I'm jealous of all that space! What do you use the mezzanine for? I'd love a big garage or pole shed with a mezzanine setup as a man cave sort of thing, but...
