    Sub-Compact Tractor with Loader

I "need" a tractor with a loader. I have 2.3 acres of property and maybe 25% of it could use various amounts of leveling, plus a bunch of brush to deal with. I love my cub, and a Danco or LoBoy/18x with loader would be awesome, but realistically I think my money will be wiser spent on a more...

    QA-42 Snow Thrower

Arizona? Maybe you could move some desert sand around with it ;) Kidding, I would hate to see and hear the heck that would wreak on the grease and joints!

you're not wrong! (today is my Friday, so chug a lug)

    my 782 video walk around

Makes sense! I can see it being nice to see the gauge jump as well! The gauge on my 107 just bounces between D and C constantly due to vibration, though maybe if the charging system failed it would favor "D"

    my 782 video walk around

I don't travel much but once in a while somebody will comment on my Minne-soh-tah accent. It's not near as strong as the accents in the movie Fargo though  Question on the 782 - there is a switch for the regulator to charge the battery. When would you want to be able to control that? I...

    QA-42 Snow Thrower

I wonder if maybe it just slid apart and was put back together without worrying about alignment given that it is not yet installed?

    Cast End Mower Deck

My wife found it on Facebook (I don't have one myself) but it was a great deal I think! I'd like to put some new runners on my stamped deck and set one of them up for my Peco Vac.

    Cast End Mower Deck

I'm thinking it is a 42", granted the blades don't line up perfectly for the measurement. Either way, it's a good size for me, hangs out of the mower enough for good coverage but not so far that I bump the trees with it (well, maybe one or two, but it was my first time with this deck and first...

    Cast End Mower Deck

Always wondered how exactly they were measured, thanks!

    Cast End Mower Deck

Picked up a new (to me) mower deck last week. I have a non-cast deck as well but it's not in the best shape, and I have 2 acres to mow so I figured if nothing else it would be good to have a backup. I'm not certain of the size, it was sold as a "46 inch" deck which I do not believe exists, and...

    QA-42 Snow Thrower

In the 2nd photo I posted you can see the U-joint knuckles are slightly misaligned. I would never have even thought about that sort of thing!

    QA-42 Snow Thrower

Great to know! I will make sure to get those aligned before I fire it up.

    QA-42 Snow Thrower

I forgot to add, I need to get a belt for it. I didn't see anything that specifically stated it would work with my tractor/thrower combo, but I should be able to get some measurements once I get everything mounted up in the next couple of days here. I did get 2 brand new belts that previous...

    QA-42 Snow Thrower

Picked up a QA-42 Snow Thrower yesterday. I also picked up a cast end deck from the same guy last week, still need to get some pics of that but it does cut pretty great. I did get the chain guard, there is a stuck bolt that I need to extract and replace. I also got a spare chain tensioner (not...

Can you spread gravel with a front plow blade?

Late response, but I am partway through attempting an auxiliary hydro retrofit on my 107. I've got the pump in but some personal things (newborn baby and moving to a new house) have prevented me from doing much other than throwing in the ported pump. I had to make some tweaks but in theory I...

A place for random photos,,,with no specific topic

Very cool! We see bears up at my in-laws place in Ely MN somewhat often but rarely, if ever, that close! This picture was taken across the "ball field", an open field of cleared trees about the size of a small baseball field. The mama bear would use the big tree in the middle there to teach the...

    Cub lo boys ?

I recently purchased a garden trailer from somebody who had a Lo-Boy that he said he uses all the time, and he said it was a hydrostatic. Looking at tractordata.com there is only a manual/gear transmission. I'm guessing the owner was just mistaken, he didn't seem super mechanically inclined.

Some pics of my homemade lift arm bracket and lift rod. The lift arm bracket is 2 pieces of 1/4" x 1" metal welded together (it's what I had laying around), then bent to the contour of the lift arm. I learned here that I need a hotter torch... The rod is as simple as it looks -- 1/2" cold...

Welcome! It sounds like you are missing the same exact two parts that I was missing and fabbed up for my 107  I'll run out and grab some pictures over my lunch break.

    Narrow Frame mower deck

Looking for a Narrow Frame mower deck for my 107. The 42" deck I have is in pretty rough shape, and I may not have time to get it up and running before the grass needs cutting. I have a 50" "Cyclone Cut" deck for a newer Cub that I would be willing to work into a trade. I can get some pics of...
