Only thing missing on that tractor is the CB and 102" whip antenna to keep track of road conditions.....

My local Federated carries 30wt non detergent "compressor oil". I buy it for the compressors at work.

Hydro, That gives a new meaning to "Overloads-mobile" (it looks to be an Oldsmobile)

Scott, yup, that's me. I grew up on a '66 100. I gave it away back in the early 90's(stupid, huh?). I bought my 149 about 7-8 yrs ago. The 127 I got last spring from a friend. I'm freshening it up so I can use it and go through the front axle of my 149 next spring. It's just a little...

Here I am playing at a truck show doing exhibition pulls. I know this isn't cub related, so I won't go into much detail. I've had it 14 yrs, done a ton of upgrades to it(stretch-air ride, bunk, some paint, a/c, air steering, air starter, cruise control, motor). I use it to pull my 40ft race...

Charlie I see you are friends with Ray Weaver. I saw his Mack full of Cubs this fall at the big Gerhart equipment show in PA. It is all truck related, but I was checking out the load of Cubs he brought. I'm a Mack guy myself. 1959 B61.

Hydro, I know the t bar was included because it was in the pics. Not sure about lift rod? I have the technology to make it. Thanks for the heads up. I can't call on it til Wednesday so not sure if it will still be available then? Good deals go quick. There are a few others but not as nice...

Rut Roh Shaggy.....caught by the internet police...... Thanks guys. I'm going to poke around more. Like I said, I have a gravel drive, but when it does snow hard I can't always push it far enough away so a THROWER would help. Found a QA42A that is really clean for $175 locally. No...

Ok, question of the day: What snowblower fits a narrow frame? I found a couple on craigslist and curious if I can make them work? Can you change the mounting brackets? I haven't actually measured the frames between mine to see how different they actually are. I have a 52" blade for the...

I'm pretty sure my Z bend is installed just like the picture shows below. I can see if you remove the upper slide bracket from the s/g you can likely get the Z bend installed and then lay the rod back and re-attach it. This also gives you access to install a s/g belt. Since I pulled the...

My 149 stays in the cold but has always started. I'm going to get the battery cables up to snuff and try with a new battery. I might pull the drive pin to see if that is the problem. Might be due for a fluid change.

As for the oil fogging. I can see why it is recommended with a boat. Lots of moisture and fogging with oil will do NOTHING to hurt it. As for the PTO rod, man I didn't realize I opened such a can of worms. To ease all the minds, it is all together now. Remember, I had the front end...

Even a 4 stroke has valves open when the motor is shut off. Sitting in a cold, moist area could rust the cylinders. I have never worried about it even with my cubs sitting in a cold shed all winter. To each their own.

Update profile? Ok guess I need to figure that cause I don't recall every setting it up and where does it say I have a 105? As for the PTO rod, I had the nose off so I wasn't just replacing the belt but figured since I had it apart I would replace the belt. Going by the fact the PTO rod...

Hydro, I had the nose on it, then realized the rod was laying on the ground. I tried to slip the Z into the front arm and no way, ain't happening. I also realized I should put a new belt on it too and realized the rod went through the belt and knew I had to have the nose off to get all those...

Hydro, The z bend in the PTO rod will not fit into PTO arm up front unless you have the front end off. At least not mine, unless it was backwards all along. I put it on the way it was worn. I wondered why it was so difficult to change a belt.

Starting to look like something. The nose is just sitting there as I picked up a new gen/starter belt for it(on my way to work this morning) and I realized you need to have all this off to get the belt on because the PTO control rod runs THROUGH the middle of it. Ugh. I also picked up a new...

Ok, things are going together nicely....even if it was a bit nip outside last night. I got the axle pivot bushing reamed. I brought a .75 ream home from work and got the axle put up in my mill and made quick work of it. I've got a antique 9x24" "table top" mill. I fitted the axle to the...

Hydro, the engine is sitting in front of the frame, under the tarp. It only had one bolt holding it in, I think I will use all four??? Matt, working at a machine shop I have access to any machine I need. I used our horizontal mill to bush the axle. Once I get the pin fit tonight, I will...
