Thanks do you have illustration 2-97, still don't know what the "friction disc" is. I did trace my problem to a fatigued [ressure spring though (I think)

    cub125 stubborn pto bearing

Well I fired up the cub for first mow of the year and my manual pto isnt disengaging. There is plenty of pressure on the release button, but it still spins. Can someone explain how the clutch actually works? In other words which parts grab and don’t grab based on if the button is in or not in...

what color to paint my blade?

Well 2 hours with a wire wheel on a grinder got most of the rust off of my blade. What color would be correct for the blade repaint? blade is from whatever year the 125's came out. Any suggestions about what kind of paint? also are IH decals available?

Can you spread gravel with a front plow blade?

I’ve had my 125 for almost 20 years and have never used the plow but am planning to do so this spring to push some soil around. The prospect of having a hydraulic lift instead of manual is attractive. Are they retrofittable? Not trying to hijack this thread just wondered.

Can you spread gravel with a front plow blade?

I think an underlying fact throughout this thread is that these wonderful little tractors are not bulldozers or backhoes

Can you spread gravel with a front plow blade?

With the front mounted blade you can also backblade with small bites. I think.

Since I am not personally selling it it seemed like posting here was appropriate to give folks a heads up, but if this is a policy grey area someone let me know and I will take this down.

There is a low boy 154 on facebook marketplace for 300.00

Not mine just saw it there it looks pretty decent he said it got stuck today in second gear and he just wants to sell it. I don’t know the buyer, but that seems to me to be a good price. If I had room I would go buy it.

    QA42A Snowthrower Refurbish

Years ago on a cub forum someone suggested that placing a barrier on the front grille to keep engine heat from warming the snowthrower helps the snow to not stick helps...and it does. Cardboard is even ok. Also waxing the inside if the unit including the vanes helps

What model is this Cub snow blower?

Thanks guys! Does anyone know the color formula for the factory white? I think I'll do a semi restoration, it actually works well. good bearings- spins up nicely. I have the lift "rod" but not the one for rotating the discharge chute, however that should be easy to duplicate.

What model is this Cub snow blower?

Got this with my 125 when I bought it. It works and I would like to sell it or restore and sell it. Does anyone know what model it is? I used it for a winter with decent results but later bought a two stage.

Jumpered the switch, started right up.......and destroyed the pto fibre wear button in about a minute. Does anyone know where I can get the bronze aftermarket version?

A small file did the trick. Do you know where the clutch pedal safety switch is located? It appears to be intermittent. Thanks
