    Hyd power angle blade

Have you tried for quite a few cycles, if it's dry it might take a bit to get the air out. Can you move the clyinder (angle the blade by hand)? A while back somebody broke a cylinders piston and it wouldn't move.

Tony, The easyiest and cheapest thing to do with one of these engines first is put a cheap spark tester on it. I think I paid 2 bucks for mine and then learn how to use it. Being able to look at the condition of the spark itself will tell you a lot about the condition of your ignition system...

Ken The rear mount for the arm isn't just a bushing. I think it would be a pipe drilled for the cotter pin, with a pin welded in one end for the rear mount of the top arm. The pins welded there are only about an inch long. Tom can you look at yours and see if thats accurate? Kraig, I didn't...

Ken, I looked at the manual, in illustration 15 it shows being put on a narrow frame. In that picture the blower is slid all the way to the left (sitting on the tractor). I can see advantages to that with a lot of wieght on that side and only one bushing to lose. I was on the parts look-up and...

Kevin, Thats how you post pictures. Nice job. Ken, I don't know. I can see where that would work. Seems like it would put a lot of stress on the belt.

Tom, The lower pivot rod on the QAxxA, when it's set for a narrow frame, allows the mule drive to "float" side to side. Ken, a couple bushings would work. Anybody ever drill that rod for a couple hair pins?

Heres one unicorn What centers the subframe on a QA42A? Does it just float from side to side on the lower pin.

Roger, Yes it will work. You'll need the double pulley for the engine and probly have to drill the mounting holes.

Charlie, If it's 69 at a thermostat what is it in the rafters 90? I used to get parts of a shelf near the cieling at our old lawn mower shop. It gets a lot warmer up there.

On that QA42A fitting a pre-QT tractor. It won't easily fit. The top arm fits on a welded pin to the QT, it shares the same location as the front bolt mount for the narrow frame sub-frame. Not saying it can't be done but it'll take a little work.

Jerry, Kraig, I looked up the part numbers on the 70 and 100, there are 2 part numbers available. If Kraig is correct and the ACR came in on the 71 102 122 123, they wouldn't have put a larger pulley on the 10 without compression realese. The second serial number matches the 149 169. Just saying.

I thought the larger pulleys were for the smaller 7 hp the smaller pulleys were for the larger engines. That comes from seconds of shallow thought but worth every penny you spent on it.
