    Aaron W on tiller belt if the pulleys are lined up correctly then check for extra twist in the belt. Or chalk an arrow on it and take off and reverse the direction to see if it tracks better.

    Austin whats your price range? I have a 128 with rear PTO option. Runs but needs restoration. Engine was rebuilt a few years ago. Was my main plowing tractor.

    Jim S on the crankshaft question are they the same on flywheel end? We put a new one in a 14 hp a few years back that used a bolt in the end to hold the flywheel on rather than the nut as was on the old one.

    Wayne is it sucking air around the throttle shaft? Put a little gun grease around the throttle shaft and try resetting the carb to stop the hunting.

    Was there supposed to be a cross rod on the fenders of the 70-100 series? Never had one on my 70. No holes in the fenders either.

    Earl run a heavy ground wire from the battery direct to the engine block. I did this on a 149 that started hard and it made a big difference on cold cranking. Hope this helps.

    Larry K I have the Kirk pointsaver on three different cubs and have had very good success with it. The light built into the ones I have makes setting points easy.

    Kraig: several years ago he offered it for sale here and I met him at the Old Little G show in Iowa. He showed down there several years. Also met Paul Bell down there. Both very nice and helpful on Cub Cadet info.

    Did someone say 70? My grandson helping me grade the driveway in 2012. This was the tractor my son restored in 1998. Sports a Dan H. belly blade.

    Dave S don't give up on that little fella to soon, the 70 is a nice little tractor. I use mine with a belly blade on my driveway quite often. It's a fun tractor to drive and easy to store.
