    129 hydro leak?

    It's not that bad of a job if you have the tools, skills and the manual. Last time I did the gasket replacement my brother helped me and we took better part of an afternoon. Of course we had to have a few barley pop breaks.

    John Deere 214 Electric Conversion...So Far!

    Looks like a nice conversion. I also like how neatly the tools are laid out. When I am working on my tractors the tools get scattered all over the shop.

    1811 trouble

    I have had rubber fuel line go bad inside and cause the same issue. I looked new outside but was like mush inside. I think it colapsed inside while running and starved the engine.

    If the steering column is too short the hood may hit the steering wheel when opening.

    Engine pieces in magnetic drain plug

    If not balance gear teeth it could be from cam gear or crankshaft gear. At any rate it's time for a look inside. Please let us know what you find.

    Hard to start 149

    Run a separate ground wire from the battery to the engine block. I have found this helps cranking on my 149.
