    I tried Red bud trees in SE Mn and didn't have any luck. Died off and came back from the root and the 2nd year died completely. But the winters are warmer now. Maybe I should try again.

    My landlord when we were first married had one of the GE Electrac mowers. His wife mowed about 3 acres every week with it. It was all batteries under the hood and seat. but it was a lot quieter than a Cub Cadet.

    And how good is the battery? Check voltage at the coil while cranking. A weak battery equals weak spark.

    1200 head lights

    I don't think the 1200 will have a plug for lights built into the harness. I doesn't show up in the wiring diagrams. That being said I have never owned a 1200.

    With the creeper drive it should go plenty slow enough to till. I had a number 2 tiller on a 124 with a creeper and my biggest problem was lifting it. Had to have the helper spring cranked up tight.

    If you are going to test run out of the tractor I hope you have a good stand or something. I did that with a 7 horse bolted to some planks and it danced all over the garage floor.

    If it's worn around the throttle shaft it is just about impossible to get it adjusted. Always sucking extra air and running lean.
