    Rallison how did you get to the trunion to repair it with out removing the rear end? Cut the tunnel cover off? I never seen a removeable tunnel cover on a 127 or 147.

    I had this type of issue on my old 147 and it was a loose connection where the harness plugged into the motor.

    You could try just swapping the shifter forks before swapping the whole transmission.
