    582 PTO

It a early one no relay. Even with the pto unpluged at the clutch it will still kill the engine when I turn the pto switch on. To me it seems like the wire to the clutch is going to ground?

    Cab's

Pulling it off is one way to go about it.or My train of thought was a cub for every attachment and what not. (lol) That is why 2 of the 3 bays of my garage can not be used. they are cub storage.

    Cab's

i wouldn't be with out one on a tractor that i use for snow clean up. Especially one with a thrower/ blower. Mpatterson is correct they are louder than you think they should be. I dont think I would want one on a mower. Trees would be my issues.

    Cab's

I do not know if they same height but both the Sims cabs I have are tall enough. The one one my 782 has the vinyl type doors and windows. The one on for my 982 are metal. I am 6ft 1in 200lbs. My brother has a red soft cab for his 582 and never bumped my head. Hope this helps. Jim

    Sims Cab on a 982

Does any one have a Sims all metal cab on a SGT? I bought one today and the young man said some of the mounts are missing. I have never saw one mounted before so I have no clue what they look like to even make them. Thanks Jim

    Cub cadet prices.

I was shocked a lot by the prices of everything. For as nice as the collection was as a whole. I really figured I was going to be in that 182 a lot more to get it. His was the only one I knew of and I haven't seen any other advertised for sale in my years of collecting the 82 series. Now all I...

    Cub cadet prices.

Went to a estate auction yesterday of Norm Turner. Roughly 60 miles northeast of Columbus Ohio. The prices of these truly floored me. Norm was a lifetime collector of anything IH. There was a mountain of toys still in the box never opened sell. I didn't get to watch any of that because I was out...

    Gear driven or Hydro Driven

Ok I will add my two cents. For snowplowing and blowing and mowing I use a hydro. For Lawn spraying, seeding and spreading fertilizer I use a Gear drive. Reason being for the hydro on those jobs is the no stop choice of speed. But for the spreading and spraying I feel I get a more constant sped...
