    Wood splitting

    I like my Taylor Water stove . It is out in the yard 50' from the house . Hot water (165° ) is circulated to the baseboard radiators for heat. No wood trash or ashes to deal with in the house and no fire Hazzard in the house .

    Welding seat

    After drilling the holes at the ends get it strait and put a small tack weld in the middle , then one on each side half way to the end. If you don't the metal will start to move and you will lose your fil .

    color of primer

    A trick that I learned years ago was to remove ALL paint ( sand blast, sanding , etc) and then paint Dupont Imron on the bare metal . It will bond to the bare metal and not chip.

    Have I got the right oil.

    I go to Tractor Supply to get mine . You look at the bucket and it will say that it meets International Harvester High Trans specs . At less than $6 a gallon I am not going to CaseIH when my old tractor needs a fluid change. The difference is 16gal.x6=$96 or $400 from Case.

    Sitting in the seat the smoke came from the left side under the battery . As you know you should be in the seat to start it .

    Part ordered for my lathe departs on countrywide tour!!

    Sent a Registered letter from Richmond,VA To Houston . It was cash Christma gift to my great nephew . The only way to insure cash was Registered mail . It took 19 days for delivery . It got hung up in the swamp ( Washington ) .
