    I have 2 questions, first what is the best chemical paint stripper to use. second are these wind breakers still availble through IH I did the electrolysis with the arm and hammer stuff but it will take me years to strip all the paint and rust off the small parts.

    Thanks everyone for the advise, I do have the engine out and just about everthing else removed and ready for clean up roll pin is out but that darn other pin(axle) is still in there. This a 122 cub project.Taking the rest of the day off and watch some sports. Ron

    Digger, Actually the pin in the axle will not turn. the wobble is in the bracket that holds the axle I would like to send you a picture but I do not know how that is done. I know how to send attachment in E-mail but not here on the forum.Ron

    How about all the super maintenance people,. I am dismantiling a 122 for restortion and the front axle pin is lose and wobbles but it will not come out not even with a punch and hammer will it hurt it if I heat it up any other suggestions. Ron

    Do all Kohler 301 engines have balance gears, if not is there a better way to tell than remove the engine oil pan such as serial number ???
