    The Perfect Plow Tractor?

My Son had an 86 that had a slightly modified 14 horse power engine in it. He put a 13 tooth pinion in the reduction housing instead of the factory 12 tooth. The 86 was able to handle a 12 inch plow without too many problems. If my memory is working right-didn't Steve B have a 582 with a 19...

Early Cub Cadet 70 and 100's with serial number range of 65458 to 96765 had a 16 tooth 2nd gear. It was a little on the slow side when you mow the grass. The later 70/100's serial number 96766 and above had a 19 tooth gear. The 19 tooth gear was used until the wide frame series came to the...

    Synthetic oil

I purchase a new 2012 Chevy 2500 HD pick up with a 6.0 gas engine. The service manager told I had to use a oil with Dexos in it. If I don't GM could cancel my warrenty. The only oil I can find is synthetic oil that has dexos in it.

I have a IH Cub Cadet 125 that needs a new handle grip installed on the lift handle. I have a NOS handle grip. How do I install it without tearing it? Does the lock lift button have to be removed? Is the lock button screwed in or press in? Thanks for any help.

Shultzie I found the orginal coulter mount for my Brinly plow. Coulter Standard (Part that connects to plow frame): bottom view: I added a split collar to keep the fork (part that connects to coulter)from moving up the coulter standard.

Don T. All early style Brinly plows had the hitch welded on the plow. The main frame is different design than the later style plows. I added the the extra "C" so I can move the over to where it should be.

My sincle hole plow had a 7-8 inch diameter coulter on it. The shaft that goes to the clamp/plow frame is a different style too. I'll try to find the orginal coulter bracket. I modified the hitch on my single hole plow: My single hole plow is using a newer style coulter bracket.
