Tom, I think it's the same as a 682 & 782. I can get you those dimensions in the morning.

    IH in films

I saw "The Flim Flam Man" last night with George C. Scott. Had a good picture of a late model Farmall and later on another red tractor that might have been a Farmall.

My ISO set looks like Charlie's third picture down (one set). If so, and I have a correct set, how does it go together? Do I have it assembled correctly?

In the past you've heard me complain about the vibration of my 1450. I just pulled the engine out to repair an oil leak in the pan so thought I'd take another look at these ISO mounts. The P.O. said he bought new mounts about two years ago and they look fine to me. Knowing him, I assume he...

Okay, will go with installing the cradle in the frame first. Wish me luck! Thanks

When reinstalling an engine in a 1450, which is the easiest & best way to do it, install the cradle on the engine first or install the cradle in the frame first?

Harry, Thanks for responding. Yes, it is aluminum. I didn't check it for warpage when I reassembled it but will now. And if is warped, I'll try to bring it back in. Thanks for the info...

After rebuilding my K321 engine, installing & buttoning everything up, I see I have an oil leak. Nice! Remembering the slip fit of the front crankshaft seal O.D., I thought that was what it was. Even ordering a new seal. After removing the tin, muffler, & PTO, the leak appears to be the pan...

I would think the armorall would help the color, but wouldn't do anything for the roughness.

The plastic on all my knobs are dingy, rough, & dull. Anyone have a way to rejuvenate them?

    Lawn Fertilizer Recommendations

I'm not an expert either but you can't go wrong using what you have. Your soil may be lacking something specific but only a soil test will tell you. I highly recommend that. As the weather warms, then I would lay down some high nitrogen stuff. Coupled with some nice spring rains, you should be...

I just ran a compression test on my B&S twin L head 18hp and got 95 psi on the right cylinder, 90 psi on the left. Sound about right? Can't find any published data on this.

Wayne S. - Too much trouble and possible contamination of the oil, or losing some. Also I'm pissed that I have to replace this seal on a new rebuild!

This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know if the full oil level on the dipstick is below the O.D. of the front oil seal on a K321 engine? I need to replace this crankshaft seal and I don't want to drain the oil if I don't have to.

Yes, that's the hood latch. I'd rather get it from someone who has the experience in making them, but, lacking that, I may try myself. Thanks for the info...

A few days ago we were talking about a hood catch for quiet lines. I can't find the thread. Anyway, a lot of us wanted one but did anyone commit to making them? I'll give it a try if someone has a drawing of this.

Very interesting write- up, Harry. Good info from the two Bill J's also. So I wonder what the price difference is b/t New Holland & CC? Probably varies by local.
