No mapquest needed Scott. Big tip. If you get to Nebraska, ya went just a leettle too far. Stop and ask for directions.LOL When you drive across the hills of the Galena territories and cross into Iowa from Illinois. And you drive past Dyersville. You're not close yet When you hang the big...

Just another thought on trailers. I went from a 10 footer to a 14 utility. Now I've got the 18 car hauler. I do not think it matters how big the trailer is. A man is still gonna fill it up and wish for another two feet!

We too have a little portable winch for our trailer. It is handy for dead snowmobiles and Cub Cadets. Pat and I are looking into a much larger unit to drag the black truck up on there. We solid mounted an 8000lb Bulldog jack at the front of the trailer so I don't have any free space there. The...

    What model is this

Your solenoid is up on the starter on the 2185. Check the connections and listen there for the "click". Good grounds, might be corroded or wore. If not, then check back at the key switch for loose or burnt stuff. Those Commands are great motors and will drop into many older Cub Cadets.

Bryan, you're kidding right. I am at 9th and State. I got some cool pics of the museum too. We were gonna sell seats to the Obama speach in Grant Park last fall. A perfect view from 30 floors up.

I had yesterday off due to the snow. About 8 inches. Pat ran the 2550 and blade for about 2 hours and I got the free/ratty 782 and blower out to clean up the real deep stuff. I ended up putting a car battery on the back of the 782 to get it spinning fast enough to start. I hear you on the cold...

    IH trucks

I saw an MXT in the parking lot at the Navistar offices on saturday. This is the one off I-88 around Naperville. It was HUGE! I need to call them and see if I can get a pic of it and my 71 Travelette together. I finally got him home and washed off.

Saturday we helped a guy move this truck out of a part of his old barn that was falling in on it. He has 8 IH trucks and Scouts. This 4 door is from California and has 51K miles. It has not moved in 5 plus years. Very, very dirty. We worked out a deal and soon it will be following us home. It...
