Cub Cadet 782. CCC model. Great running KT17 series two that I put an oil filter on. Also has a Carter Carb on it. All tires are good and hold air. Wheel weights come with. PTO works fine. We threw snow last winter with this tractor and drug baseball diamonds all summer with it. Never an issue...

Clint, if your briggs 18 is a V twin you can just mount it on a solid plate. That is what some of the guys are doing when they use Kohler Commands. It will be smooth enough and not shake too bad. You may end up notching for the starter. Try a gas tank from a 109 series or one from an original...

Evan, do you build enough pressure to pop the head off that thing? I see it is cabled down. Or is it just for safety.

Cub Cadet 1641 GT replacement engine

Douglas, In those pretty boxes up above are sponsors. Give RF Houtz a call. Ask for Rob or Skip and tell them what you are in need of. They may have a good used motor on hand. They will box it up and ship it your way. Good Luck

Cub Cadet 1641 GT replacement engine

Douglas, an 18 or 20 Magnum would be an excellent choice. They lug well in thick grass. I believe a better choice though would be a Kohler Command of 18,22 or more HP. New ones are pricey, but good used ones can be found very reasonable. They were used by lots of brands other than Cub Cadets...

Cast iron rearend in a 882D, or 782 Diesel?

I put a rear from a 147 under my 782D[when I had it]. Just a couple washers and the fuel tank and lines will be fine. Was for me anyways. Hi Matt!
