Keith, if you still have the blades you are trying to find a home for, I can help you out.

    International Blade (42") renovation

John, In order to make the float button work you will also need to replace that bolt at the top of your lift arm with the proper Manual Lift Arm Button PN/ IH-401456-R2. Cub Cadet Specialties has them available as well. They screw onto the release rod inside your lift arm. Not sure how...

    early QL 341s

My recollection is that most Quietlines did have the long dipstick tube on the front right. This was possible because most of them didn't have the grenade balance gears. I think there was some early production that did have balance gears so the dipstick would have been on the cams cover.

    early QL 341s

K341's installed in 169's had the dipstick on the cam cover like the 147/149 models.

IH Cub Cadet White/Yellow Spray Paint

"Federal Yellow" is the correct yellow for IH built Cub Cadets.

QA 42 top link lift arms

The curved links were on the B-model throwers to accommodate squashed (flanged outboard) frame for the twin cylinder engines in the 82 series Cubs. The straight links would hit squashed area when you raise the blower.

    Hello from Texas!

Jonah, Welcome. One of the first things on your 1650 that will likely need attention is replacing the rubber engine isomounts and doing the engine cradle modification noted at the following link. Cub Cadet FAQ Don't hesitate to ask questions. Lots of good info and knowledge available here.

IH Cub Cadet S/W Change & Group Builder Welcome

The home page seems to be stuck in a do-loop as when you click on the link to go the forum, it just brings back up the same home page. Can't get to second page where posting subject activity is displayed.

Starting to work on 127 again

Larry K, Battery terminals can only be towards the dash tower. If you try to put the battery in the other way, you will discover that when you go to install the battery retainer angle, it will contact the battery terminals. Been there, done that.

    QA36A snowblower/thrower wear bar/scraper bar/shave plate

Mark, In case you didn't know, the wear bar is reversible by flipping it end to end. So if only one side is worn, and the other edge isn't, you still have useful life in your current part.

    Transmission Fluid for Cub 1450

Steve, What model is your Cub Cadet Hydro? You mention it needing 4 quarts for a change out. That is not right for an IH Cub Cadet or early MTD Cub Cadets garden tractors which require 7 quarts. There two types of transmission fluids used in Cub Cadets. "HyTran" is the recommended oil for IH...

Charlie, You better go buy another lottery ticket. Amazing how the good deals always find you. That's a nice looking 268. Doesn't have much use judging from the paint. Most of it is still there on the front intake side.

Doug/Charlie, This is way different than what it was this morning. CC's IT department must have been still uploading the new version when I tried it. Much better! Thanks.

Charlie, This new CC website parts format is worthless. It doesn't even recognize model numbers like 127, 149, 782 or 1450. Please tell your contacts at Cub Cadet that this new format is not useful.

What happened to the parts catalog picture lookup feature by model? What a screwed up mess. How are we suppose to lookup the part numbers we need?

Charlie, So is the front Original pulling the back one or is the back Original pushing the front one? Given that the back one has the seat and steering wheel, I'm guessing its the latter option. The Cub Cadet version of the 2+2! Hah!
